UNIFORM and EQUIPMENT

MYS soccer players in U10, U12 and U14 wear uniforms to their games.  Beginning in Spring 2006 the uniform will change since High Five has discontinued the red and black jersey.   U10's will play in the new Jersey in Spring.  U12's and U14's will get the new jersey in Fall 2006.  Players are responsible for supplying shin pads and uniform - Jersey, black shorts, and black socks that completely cover ship pads.   (jersey of the 2000).

New 2006-2007 Travel Team Jersey

MYS supplies team T-shirts to all participants in the U-4, U-6 and U-8 in-town soccer programs.  Coaches will hand these out by the first game day.

EQUIPMENT

Please bring a ball and water bottle to practices.  Its more fun when every player has a ball at practice.

Our players' safety is our number one concern.

All soccer players from U-4 through U-18 must wear shin pads completely covered by socks

Cleats are not required but strongly recommended for U8 and higher.  No baseball cleats are allowed.

No jewelry may be worn at practice or games.  Medical bracelets must be taped down.

Players will not be allowed to practice or play in games if they do not follow these safety rules.  ECYSA Referees do enforce these rules.  If a player is not properly equipped s/he will not be allowed to play by the referee.

Travel Team Jersey used in 2001-2006.  Replaced by new Red Jersey in 2006.

Travel Team Jersey used in 2000.  Replaced by Red Jersey in 2001.
